While there’s a lot that’s similar about these two sedans, the fully redesigned 2018 Camry defeats the Honda Accord in several crucial areas this year. When it comes to safety, both of these sedans give you peace of mind on the streets of Atlantic Beach thanks to standard features like stability and traction control, a rearview camera, stability control, and traction control. However, the Camry gets 10 airbags, while the Accord only gets six. Also, only the Toyota Camry comes standard with an advanced driver assist package in the form of Toyota Safety Sense P (TSS-P), which includes features like:

  • Pre Collision System with Pedestrian Detection
  • Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist
  • Automatic High Beams
  • Dynamic Radar Cruise Control

While some of these features may be offered on the Accord, you’ll only get them through costly upgrades, whereas even the base-level trim on the Camry includes these advanced technologies.
